The purposes of our Society are:

• To support high-impact opportunities for Canada–Global South creative economy collaboration, with emphasis on Latin America, the Caribbean, and the Asia-Pacific region.

  • To strengthen cross-border networks among community members, governments, philanthropic organizations, academic institutions, entrepreneurs, and businesses to co-design practical collaboration solutions.

  • To generate and share actionable research and learning on creative-sector cooperation in the Global South, and to use evidence to improve partnership models and decision-making.

  • To prototype, pilot, and scale Canada–Global South partnership initiatives that expand exchange and market access.
